Part of RRR was filmed in Ukraine, which is currently waging a war against Russia. SS Rajamouli had even inquired about the welfare of people who had worked with the RRR crew in Ukraine. “Some of them are fine, and others I have yet to get in touch with. RRR is billed as one of the most anticipated pan-Indian releases in India. SS Rajamouli, in fact, had credited Aamir Khan’s Lagaan with inspiring him to make a pan-Indian film.
