French film trailer upside down

French film trailer upside down. French trailer for the romantic sci-fi thriller Upside Down starring Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst.

A French trailer has been posted for the romantic sci-fi thriller Upside down with Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst. We showed you a few stills from the movie last month, but they were mostly right side up and didn’t convey the dizzying and impressive visuals. The trailer gives a better look at the beautiful set design and I love the use of the effect in reverse. However, the story seems a bit rote. The characters live in two connected worlds but one on top of the other and each with its own gravitational pull. No one from one world can switch to the other or even communicate with someone on the other side, but the characters in Sturgess and Dunst fall in love and break the rule. I hope the plot is little more than just a love story across borders where the only twist is that the border is on an unconventional axis.

Hit the jump to check out the trailer. No release date in the United States has been announced.
