Netflix will release the French film “Vicky and her mystery” in December 2021

The French movie Mystery is set to be released on Netflix exclusively worldwide in December 2021. The film will be titled on Netflix as Vicky and her mystery with the film on Netflix on December 24, 2021.

The new 84-minute family film will hit Netflix on Christmas Eve 2021 worldwide and follows a father moving to the remote mountains of Cantal to reconnect with his daughter. There, his young daughter meets and adopts what appears to be a puppy named Mystery. She quickly develops a bond with the puppy but as he grows it becomes clear that he is not a dog but a wolf.

The film is produced and distributed by Gaumont Distribution and as we mentioned, should receive a theatrical release from December 15 in France.

The film is directed by Denis Imbert who is best known for directing the 2003 Taxi 3 and 2015 vicky and Parisian. Imbert is also currently working on a new film titled Stone Paths.

The film’s cast includes Vincent Elbaz, Shanna Keil, Marie Gillain, and Eric Elmosnino.

Vicky and her mystery will be available in a variety of dubbing and subtitle options. Some of the dubbing options include the original French audio as well as English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Turkish dubs.

The film was not initially part of Netflix’s December 2021 lineup, it was excluded from most PR releases.
